Technical features

The device is made of high-quality INOX AISI 304 steel and features water-resistant keyboards and IP67 electronics.

Controllable hair washing shower

The jets supply water heated to a pleasant temperature of 38oC, which is an ideal temperature for washing dogs. A controlling mechanism adjusts jet intensity and offers three dispersion options: mild splashing, drops or full jet.

Special hairdryer for dog hair

This power-adjustable hairdryer is specifically designed to generate low noise levels, thus allowing the customer to effectively dry the dog without disturbing it. The hairdryer is enclosed in a cabinet and extends to the tub via a flexible cord.

Anti-slip rubber pad

A rubber pad on the bottom of the tub prevents the pet from slipping. This allows the dog to stand safely and comfortably throughout the washing process.

Safety buckle and latch

The buckle allows the dog to be tied and the latch prevents the door from being opened accidentally, which also prevents the dog from jumping out and potentially hurting itself.

Options and user manual

The dog wash has pre-installations for optional equipment and each buyer may further personalize their dog wash.

LCD TV screen

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Please contact us if you are unable to find an answer to your question.

What are the conditions precedent to opening a self-service dog wash and do I need a permit?

A self-service dog wash may be opened without any permits. You only need to provide the necessary utility connections (electricity, water, sewerage) and a surface (indoor or indoor) upon which the dog wash will be installed.

Who provides the utility connections (water, electricity…) for a dog wash?

It is the owner’s responsibility to provide all necessary utility connections at the site. You will need connections to the water supply, electricity and sewerage systems.

How are dog washes maintained and do they require servicing?

The dog wash does not require any servicing, only simple removal of dog hair from the drain, replenishment of shampoo and collection of daily revenue.

What is the difference between an indoor and an outdoor dog wash?

The main difference is the location intended for its installation. An indoor dog wash is installed within a building, whereas an outdoor dog wash is installed at an outdoor site. Please view the pictures available on our website and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

What other options may be installed in a dog wash?

The available options include an LCD TV set to display ads or instructions for use, a remote data reading feature which allows you to track all financial transactions concerning the dog wash and view reports, and a bank card terminal (Nayax). We are open to any suggestions – we have installed an antiburglary, alarm and video surveillance system at the request of an outdoor dog wash owner.

Does the dog wash fiscalize bills?

The dog wash does not print or fiscalize bills. In Croatia, we use a licensed provider of these services. Such provider will sell you a device (logger + SIM data card) to be installed within the wash facility that they will use for fiscalization purposes. A sticker with a barcode is to be applied to the wash facility, which allows customers to download a digital bill (using a mobile phone or tablet). You will need to enter into a contract with such company and pay it a monthly maintenance fee. You can obtain such services from the company we use or find another provider of your choice.

How long does it take to build a dog wash?

It takes 40 days after the date you make an advance payment of 70% to build a dog wash.

Where can I purchase spare parts for my dog wash?

All spare parts are available from our factory.

What is the best place to install a dog wash?

An outdoor dog wash may be installed near a park, in the parking lot of a shopping mall or a campsite or on a walking route frequented by numerous pet owners.

If the location is a busy one, it means your revenue will be higher.

Indoor dog washes are normally installed on preexisting commercial premises where they are able to offer various additional options (towels, dog brushes, scissors, etc.).

Which shampoos and products should I use and where are they available?

Below please find a list of the shampoos we use for our dog washes:

• Disinfection: Asepsol Eco 3L
• Shampoo: Gottlieb New Style Shampoo 5L
• Fleas and ticks: Panzi Plus Flea Repellent 200ml
• Conditioner: Gottlieb New Style Creme Spelling 5L

These shampoos are available in most pet stores.

Are these shampoos diluted by water?

The shampoos are mixed in 5 L cannisters placed inside cabinets:

• Disinfection: 0.5 L of disinfectant + 4.5 L of water
• Shampoo: 2.5 L of shampoo + 2.5 L of water
• Fleas and ticks: 0.2 L of shampoo + 4.8 L of water
• Conditioner: 1.6 L of conditioner + 3.4 L of water

Note: Shake the cannister to mix the fluids.

Is there a system that alerts me when a shampoo or another product in the dog wash has been used up?

No such system is currently available, but we are working on a telemetric alerting system to allow the user to be aware of the level of each fluid in each cannister at all times. Pending its completion, the owner should check the product levels every day. You should ensure that the level of product in the cannister is not below 5 cm to avoid air being sucked into the system by the suction baskets.

How does a self-service dog wash work?

A dog wash operates on the same principle as a self-service carwash. After the payment is made, a timer is activated and all modes offered can be used as desired until the end of the defined period. These modes and the time limit allow for a pet to be easily washed within a matter of minutes.

Can an outdoor dog wash operate in wintertime?

Of course, our outdoor dog wash is insulated by 40 mm thermal panels and a thermostat-operated heater is installed inside it. This allows it to operate at any temperature.

What happens after the 3-year warranty expires?

After the warranty period, you will continue to receive our support and be supplied with our spare parts. You will only pay for the necessary parts and their delivery and we will provide you with the relevant instructions. If you so prefer, this can be handled by our servicer at the rates offered by Splashdog d.o.o.

Does the price of a dog wash include its delivery and commissioning?

No, the prices are offered on an ex-works basis. The delivery, installation and commissioning services are paid for according to the pricelist of Splashdog d.o.o.

How come some dog washes have glass door and some don’t?

It is up to the owner to choose between a glass door and a stainless-steel door.

Why do some dog washes have a sticker covering half the tub and some have a sticker reaching to the bottom of the tub?

The design of a dog wash is defined at the owner’s sole discretion. Most owners choose to have this sticker cover half the tub because a dog will sometimes damage the sticker next to the edge of the tub.

Do you offer a bank card payment option?

Yes, we use a Nayax device for this purpose.

Do you offer an option of paying via a text message?

We are working on developing such a feature and it will soon become available.

What is the maximum dog weight allowed for a dog wash?

The maximum allowed weight is 100 kg.

How much water is used for a 10-minute wash?

Around 130 liters of water is used for a 10-minute (uninterrupted) wash.

Does the dog wash use 220V or 110V voltage?

Either option is possible – we can design your dog wash based on your grid requirement, to use either 220V or 110V.
